Restorative practices are practice flames which are finally being fanned by central government, political leaders and other influential voices.

A whole range of new and innovative approaches, that contain core elements of restorative practice, are now igniting and spreading out across the criminal justice, education and care sectors; along with many other services.

Restorative practice and restorative justice both aim to:

  • give victims a voice, repair harm and assist relationships to heal
  • strengthen the web of relationships, both in families, our wider communities; and indeed society as a whole

Here at Alternative Restoratives, we have a third aim:

  • to empower troubled individuals with increased self awareness, practical skills and techniques to harness their own inner resources, and take responsibility for restoring, healing, and strengthening, the important inner relationship with Self

At the heart of Alternative Restoratives is Lynette Robinson; working in association with other experienced trainers, consultants and practitioners.
